COGNIPRAXIS ACADEMY · THE ZONES

Four zones.One journey from 6 to 16.

The same capabilities are cultivated at every age, through academic content suited to that age. What changes is the form, the depth, the demand and the autonomy. In every zone, the whole programme runs in Greek or in English.

CHOOSE A ZONE

Age sets the zone. Getting to know the child sets the starting point.

Every zone has two levels, Junior and Senior. We choose the level together, after getting to know the family and the child.

6–8 YEARS

Sparks

The foundation years.

Through play, exploration, storytelling and making, children build strong foundations in numbers, language and the natural world, the beginnings of organised thinking, and the confidence to try without fearing mistakes.

75′ a week · 8 units × 4 weeks · up to 8 children

Discover Sparks →
9–11 YEARS

Explorers

Curiosity meets method.

Children deepen their understanding of Mathematics, Language and Natural Sciences, investigate, collaborate and begin to think more strategically — and understand how they learn.

90′ a week · 6 units × 5–6 weeks · up to 8 children

Discover Explorers →
12–14 YEARS

Pathfinders

The years of identity and meaning.

Young people engage with more demanding academic content, deepen their critical and ethical thinking, and learn to respond steadily to pressure and uncertainty.

90′ a week · 5 units × 6–7 weeks · up to 8 children

15–16 YEARS

Designers

From learner to creator.

Young people apply what they know in complex projects for real audiences: they design, take initiative and see their work through — with growing autonomy.

WHAT STAYS THE SAME, WHAT GROWS

The goals stay. The challenge grows.

The philosophy is the same at every age; the architecture grows with the child.

In every zone

  • Knowledge and growth in the same learning experience.
  • The three dimensions of the Developmental Map and the two cross-cutting mechanisms.
  • Six stages in every lesson, with the Bridge before the close.
  • Two educators, up to 8 children.
  • A report after every lesson, a Unit Report, two Developmental Profiles a year.

From zone to zone

  • The depth and complexity of knowledge grow.
  • The demands of the work grow.
  • The child takes on more responsibility for their learning.
  • Autonomy and transfer to new contexts grow.
  • External support is gradually reduced.

One journey, not four separate programmes.

THE STARTING POINT

First, we get to know the family. Then, the right start.

Age points to the zone. We find the starting point together.

  1. Meeting the parents

We talk about your expectations, our approach and how the Academy and the family work together.

  2. A Developmental Introduction with the child

We get to know the child and where they are starting from. It is not a test; there is no pass or fail.

  3. A shared decision on the start

Together we agree the zone, the level (Junior or Senior) and the support the child needs.

Junior and Senior. Every zone has two levels, Junior and Senior: the same architecture, a different degree of challenge and autonomy. We choose the level together, after we get to know each other.

New children join at the start of each unit, when a place is available. Fees: announced when enrolment opens; those who have registered interest hear first.
