Controller and scope

Konstantinos Tsigaridis is the data controller for the initial operation of CogniPraxis. Correspondence address: Granitsa 32–34, Athens 11141, Greece. Telephone: +30 694 258 9729. Data protection and rights requests: legal@cognipraxis.com. General enquiries: contact@cognipraxis.com. Administration takes place in Greece and the United Kingdom. CogniPraxis is in its preparatory phase: this website provides information, newsletters and non-binding expressions of interest, without payments or binding enrolments.

Information we use

We receive the information you provide: first name, surname, email, zone of interest, meeting request, newsletter choice and correspondence. School enquiries may include organisation, role, location and areas of interest. Required fields are marked. Operational records include date, enquiry type, language, source page, consent choice and wording version, delivery status and unsubscribe information. The forms service uses a temporary hashed IP identifier to limit abuse; this is not a claim of full anonymisation. Hosting and email providers process technical connection and delivery data.

Purposes and legal bases

We respond to enquiries, deliver resources you request and organise correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and operating securely. Where you request specific steps before entering a contract, the corresponding legal basis applies. Newsletters and promotional updates require separate consent. Contacting us or requesting a PDF does not require a newsletter subscription. We do not make automated admission decisions or create advertising profiles.

Access and storage

Konstantinos Tsigaridis has operational access to enquiries. Services include Sites/OpenAI and Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting and forms, FastComet for email, and Resend for transactional delivery. Copies may be entered in an Excel file on the controller’s computer and synchronised through Apple to his personal iCloud Drive account. We do not sell contact lists. Providers may have technical access as needed for their services and may act in different roles depending on the service. Information may be disclosed when legally required or to protect legal rights.

Greece the United Kingdom and other countries

The controller accesses data from Greece and the United Kingdom. Third-party infrastructure may involve processing outside your country. International transfer rules apply as relevant, using an adequacy decision or other appropriate safeguards where required. Contact legal@cognipraxis.com for information about a particular provider, processing location and applicable safeguards. We do not claim that all data remains exclusively in Greece or the EU.

Retention

For completed enquiries with no further activity, our usual period is up to 6 months after the last substantive contact. Active enquiries about future cooperation are reviewed and may remain for as long as needed for that specific purpose, with information provided to you. Newsletter subscriptions remain until withdrawal and are reviewed for necessity at least annually. After opting out, a minimal suppression and choice-evidence record may remain as necessary to prevent further messages and demonstrate compliance. Disputes or legal obligations may require limited additional retention. Deletion needs to cover the enquiry database, email and Excel/iCloud exports. Backups and technical records are also subject to the relevant providers’ retention cycles.

Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time and withdraw newsletter consent through an unsubscribe link where provided or by emailing legal@cognipraxis.com. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month, subject to statutory exceptions and extensions. Necessary identity checks may be requested. You may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), as applicable.

Children security and updates

Initial forms are intended for adults. Please do not submit children’s names, diagnoses, health information or school records. Additional information will be provided before collecting data for future participation. HTTPS and restricted management access are used; the controller has enabled two-factor authentication. No method guarantees absolute security. Material changes are published with a new date. External links are also covered in our Cookie Policy.
